Residential Property Solicitor
Central London
Competitive Salary

My client is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join their thriving Conveyancing Team at their Central London office. This is a full-time position with the option for flexible remote work.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse residential property caseload, overseeing all aspects of the conveyancing transaction through the utilisation of the industry's leading Case Management system.
This position is well-suited for someone with a background in managing mixed sale and purchase caseloads, including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, and new build transactions.

Person Specification:
• A minimum of 3 years' experience managing a residential property portfolio from inception to completion.
• Essential experience in New Build and Shared Ownership.
• In-depth understanding of various property laws.
• Commercial awareness, staying current with business and industry developments.
• Resilience, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to finding optimal legal solutions.
• Attention to detail, demonstrating accuracy in research and document drafting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage your caseload independently, meeting and exceeding personal targets.
• Establish priorities and manage deadlines proactively and efficiently, ensuring client expectations are effectively managed.
• Take ownership of files from opening to completion, maintaining proper order in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and regulatory requirements.
• Actively engage with other solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, clients, and local authorities.
• Address complex inquiries, conducting research on previous cases and relevant laws to provide accurate advice.
• Adhere strictly to the Solicitors Regulation Authority Rules.
• Ensure accurate billing of files with appropriate fees, and upon completion, ensure funds are correctly disbursed.
• Provide supervision, support, and coaching to Paralegals.
• Optimise the client experience through the use of our conveyancing systems and technology.
• Deliver exceptional service to clients, introducers, and third parties.
• Cultivate a culture of teamwork and high performance with a strong emphasis on customer care.
