Do you have recent conveyancing paralegal experience and are looking to grow your career further? We have a new Paralegal role available based in Finchley, working within a stable and fast-paced team. You will initially be combining paralegal duties along with some administrative aspects within the office including audio typing, assisting with opening of files, preparing bundles, sending out template letters, as well as scanning and copying. As the role progresses, you will focus purely on the paralegal tasks, gaining valuable experience in a busy law firm.

What you'll do:
  • Opening and managing files, preparing contract documentation
  • Obtaining property related documentation and searches
  • Checking post and handling queries by email and telephone, progressing transactions
  • Preparing completion statements and handling post completion of files
  • Managing all updates and liaising with third parties
  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to other departments
  • Drafting and proofreading legal documents, including correspondence, briefs and contracts
  • Managing calendars and preparing meeting material  
  • Organising and maintaining client files, filing, scanning and copying
  • Audio typing of correspondence
  • Using a variety of IT systems
What you'll bring:
  • Minimum 1 years’ conveyancing experience
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, a strong multi-tasker
  • Fast and accurate typing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly and work under pressure
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
