My client is a well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their Tonbridge Office.

The role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join their Residential Conveyancing Department. Working directly with a fee earner you will support them in all day to day activities to include typing of correspondence, liaising with clients, other firms and estate agents, scanning of important documents and ensuring that all files are kept in order and compliant with CQS and Lexcel quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate

A legal secretary who is pro-active, has excellent client care skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and has the following:

  • Previous experience of conveyancing procedures and ideally leasehold procedures
  • experience of having worked within a reception environment
  • Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Fast, accurate typing ability
  • IT literate - Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience of using a case management system (although not essential as training will be provided)

This is a full time permanent position.
