Conveyancing Legal Assistant
North Manchester

A reputable high street law firm known for providing exceptional legal services to their clients are seeking a conveyancing assistant to join their team. With a focus on conveyancing, the firm pride ourselves on our dedication to delivering efficient and professional support throughout the property transaction process.

They are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join their team as a Conveyancing Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in conveyancing within a supportive and dynamic environment. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting solicitors and conveyancers in managing a caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to facilitate smooth communication and progression of transactions.
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, including contracts, transfers, and completion statements.
  • Conducting searches, reviewing titles, and assisting with property due diligence.
  • Managing administrative tasks such as file management, diary management, and billing.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a conveyancing or legal environment is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software systems.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work well within a team and independently
