This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our client’s team in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will be reporting to the team manager and managing a portfolio of Residential property matters including high value transactions. There will also be a requirement to assist in the development of the practice.
You must be a qualified Solicitor with 3+ PQE. The team advises national and international clients and offers a professional approach to residential property conveyancing. The firm is on an array of panels of many of the UK's leading mortgage lenders.
You will manage a mixed caseload of acting for buyers and sellers in relation to purchases and sales of freehold and leasehold property.
- Reviewing, drafting and amending contracts, deeds, letters and reports
- Completing search submissions and land registry formalities, researching titles and handling subsequent queries
- Managing exchange, completion and post-completion matters
- Advising on financial management matters such as mortgage redemption, transfer of equity and re-mortgage processes
- Handling residential tenancy and licence matters
- Providing advice on residential property transactions for new build developments
- Be familiar with secured lending work
You must have excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude for business development. Be an ambitious and motivated team player and capable of working autonomously under pressure and dealing professionally and effectively with demanding clients.
