Are you an experienced Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer? If so, our client is looking for a Control Systems Engineer with experience within Automation and Robotics, to work on their site in South Birmingham.

Position – Control Systems Engineer
Contract - Permanent
Location – South Birmingham  

Responsibilities - Control Systems Engineer
  • Control systems design and development including PLC programming
  • Leading system integration, test, and validation
  • Preparing documentation for system operation & maintenance
  • Extracting & interpreting customer requirements
  • Work on projects from cradle to grave, from initial customer specification, through to commissioning.
Experience/Qualifications Required – Control Systems Engineer
  • Experience in the design of controls systems for bespoke automated systems.
  • Knowledge of component parts including motors, drives and encoders
  • Extensive experience programming PLC’s, i.e Allen Bradley, Siemens.
  • Experience with Robotics
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications & designs
  • Familiar with PUWER and CE Marking.
  • Experience working on multiple projects at a time
