Macildowie is thrilled to announce a promising career opportunity for a Contracts & Ski Coordinator. This role offers the chance to be a crucial contributor to the shaping of unforgettable ski experiences for clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the Italy Ski Contracting Team to source and book ski accommodation in alignment with business needs and group trip requirements.
  • Assists in securing advantageous commercial agreements for ski schools, ski hire, lift passes, and coach companies, enhancing product differentiation.
  • Contracts ski accommodation, packages, and ground elements for emerging destinations like Andorra, Austria, and Germany, working closely with Destination Agencies where applicable.
  • Conducts on-site Health & Safety audits upon request.
  • Travels to new resorts and trade fairs to develop new products.
  • Inputs into the Ski Programme development strategy.
  • Cultivates strong relationships with key suppliers in destinations to ensure favourable commercial terms and competitive rates.
  • Inputs costs, payments, and commercial conditions into the internal MI and booking system, addressing any queries internally and externally.
  • Ensures timely processing of invoices and accurate maintenance of costs within the company MI system.
  • Provides accurate hotel and resort information to the sales and operations teams as soon as properties become available.
  • Reviews customer feedback, addresses service or quality issues with suppliers, creates action plans, and monitors progress.

Additional Opportunities:

  • Collaborates with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to deliver the annual Ski Championships, assist with inspection visits, and participate in ski promotional events.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Possesses strong negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
  • Has knowledge and experience in sourcing and booking ski elements for group tours.
  • Exhibits the ability to develop and maintain close working relationships with suppliers.
  • Thrives under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Shows a strong attention to detail.
  • Possesses exceptional organisational and planning skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
