Role Overview: As a Contracts Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in our social housing team. Your expertise in kitchen and bathroom refurbishments, along with void management, will be crucial. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Project Management: Oversee a diverse range of unique projects within the social housing sector.
  • Contract Management: Handle contract-related duties, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Directors, Quantity Surveyors, and Project Managers.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve contractual discussions and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure site inspection reports and health and safety documentation are meticulously maintained.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year in contract management, preferably within social housing refurbishment.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with FIDIC/NEC/NEC3 contracts.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tendering electrical contracts (11kV to 132kV).
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to set up contracts, review terms, and manage risk.
