We are seeking a Contract Services Advisor at various levels to join our well-known Financial Services Network firm, offering technical advice and support to new and existing AR’s and Partners.

This role requires a balance of providing high-quality service while achieving the right commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relationship management, technical expertise in contracts and be adept at managing practice succession planning and business restructures.

Full-time

Location: Swindon, Hybrid 2 days office-based and 3 days from home

Salary: £28-38k plus 7.5% plus benefits

Job Role

  • Provide technical advice face-to-face, in writing, and verbally to new and existing AR’s and Partners.
  • Present information and updates to Partners/Advisers and within the business as required.
  • Manage relationships with Key Accounts, acting as a subject matter expert on contracts and financial manuals.
  • Monitor standard and non-standard offers and contractual arrangements for new and existing AR’s.
  • Liaise with the FCA to gain appropriate authorisations as required.
  • Work with Legal to progress, facilitate, and report on legal actions.
  • Resolve contractual queries and provide technical advice to other business areas, Partners/Advisors, and Field Management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous Financial Service Experience
  • Experience of operating in a busy and demanding multi-functional role.
  • Experience of proactively managing a pipeline of work against SLAs and deadlines and complaint handling.
  • Business awareness and service orientation.
  • Good understanding of the Financial Services Industry, including Financial Conduct Authority, Consumer Duty, Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering and Vulnerable Customer principles and how to apply these to day-to-day processes.
  • Broad understanding of Financial Services marketplace and competitors.
  • Excellent working knowledge of internal systems and Microsoft office package; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as a minimum
  • Ability to conduct due diligence and fit and proper assessments.
  • Experience of operating in a busy and demanding multi-functional role.
  • Experience of proactively managing a pipeline of work against SLAs and deadlines and complaint handling.
  • Excellent relationship management and presentation skills.
