Adecco is recruiting for a Contracts Assistant to join the established team at a London Borough Council

Develop and undertake a project for the analysis of Home Care provision using the Councils finance and Adult Social Care Database (ContrOCC and Liquid Logic)

36 Hours per week

09:00 - 16:45

Office based to begin - potential for hybrid further down the line after project is well underway

Temporary Role - 3-6 months with likely extension as well as opportunity to apply for permanent role

About the role

  • To support with the procurement of health & social care, public health and wellbeing with a wide range of Providers
  • To assist the management of Contracts across different Sectors, i.e., Independent, Healthcare, Voluntary and Community Groups & Organisations
  • To carry out a range of duties relating to the operational aspects of Contract Management for Adults and Children's Health & Social Care services including the BHR Integrated Community Equipment Service Contract
  • To access management information systems and provide regular reports as required
  • Provide business support to the team by arranging contract monitoring meetings, supporting with arrangements and booking venues for provider forums
  • Support effective data management and quality assurance processes, through monitoring and review of data held across different systems used by the contract team.

Duties

  • Identify trends that lead to significant increases in forecasted and actual payments to providers for the delivery of Home Care services.
  • Using data from internal systems and Home Care Providers systems, provide comprehensive and informative reports and data to teams across the People Directorate comprising of Adults and Children's Social Care.
  • To carry out a range of duties associated to the analysis, reporting and ongoing monitoring of invoicing by Home Care providers. Participate in activity to recover overpaid funds to Home Care providers following comprehensive analysis and reporting.
  • Carry out a review of system reports used by the directorate, identifying gaps and recommend solutions for improvement liaising with Business Planning & Application Support teams.
  • Participate in and carry out investigations into Payment issues for care providers using the Council's Finance system and Adult Social Care Data base, working alongside teams in the directorate to identify and resolve broad range of payment issues.
