Client Summary:
Contractor into the Rail industry - providing servicing / repair / fabrication capabilities on a number of sites across the UK.

Position Summary
We are looking for a number of Team Players to join a small but busy team responsible for the fabrication and repair of various pieces of rail maintenance machinery / freight wagons and locomotives.

Person Profile/Experience:
We are looking for technically capable Welder Fabricators for a project in York.
Wide variety of experience considered
Experience of MIG / MMA Processes
Experience of Fabrication - reading and working from drawings.
Ideally experience working on Rail Wagons, rolling stock, HGV or heavy mobile plant, ex-Military with a suitable technical/engineering background encouraged to apply.
Codings not required - but looked upon favourably.

You will be physically fit and healthy, have a good sense of humour and be prepared to work outdoors where required.

Due to the nature of the work/role, an appreciation of H&S at work is essential, plus in line with Rail Industry Protocols there is a zero policy re being under the influence of Drugs & Alcohol whilst at work.

NVQ / City and Guilds - Welding / Fabrication
Experience supersedes all
