Trading & Supply integrates a worldwide trading network with an unsurpassed global portfolio in crude oil, refined products, natural gas, electrical power and chemicals, from its main locations in London, Houston, Calgary, Singapore, Dubai, Rotterdam, and The Bahamas.

The position is part of the Contracts team that supports the Europe & Environmental products. The team markets and trades natural gas and power across Europe and manages the company's environmental products business globally. The team counterparties include major resource holders of gas, upstream producers, investment banks, trading houses, utilities, power generators and large industrial and commercial gas and power users.

The primary purpose of the Contract Coordinator is to validate trades entered, working closely with the trading teams to ensure the accuracy of the Energy Risk & Trade Management (ETRM) system, and confirm trades with counterparties.

Key accountabilities:
1. Emissions Experience
2. Equias Experience
3. EFET Master Agreements
4. ISDA Master Agreements
5. Draft (whether automatically through STP tools or manually) and ensure timely dispatch of all Counterparty Confirmations.
6. Receive and reconcile all Counterparty Confirmations.
7. Chase outstanding and overdue Confirmations to ensure receipt within contractual deadlines.
8. Monitor electronic Confirmations (both Broker and Counterparty) for failures and resolve through to successful match.
9. Ensure compliance at all times with the Global Contracts Control Framework and relevant SOX Controls.
10. Support the provision of regular KPIs.
11. Maintain desktop procedures to reflect current processes.
12. Handling any other ad hoc Trading / Confirmation requests and queries as required.
13. Validate trader deal sheets/recap against the ETRM to ensure accuracy of the deal capture.
14. Reconcile broker recaps and investigate any mismatches.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
