This Content Copywriter role is a very exciting opportunity for someone who wants to join lovely not-for-profit organisation that have seen a large growth in members in the past year. Our client is looking for a natural communicator who loves to write a wide variety of engaging content. You will need first class writing skills with experience working with online content marketing systems.

The salary on offer for this role is £31,000- £34,000 dependant on experience. The company also offers a discretionary annual bonus on top of this and a great work life balance. This would be working one day a week from the office just outside of High Wycombe and 4 days from home. The working hours are 9am-5pm on a 35 hour working week.

What will I being doing as a Content Copywriter:

  • Create a broad range of written content that supports the firms communications strategy and the organisation’s overall corporate strategy.
  • Assist colleagues in the Communications team, wider directorate and other departments by contributing to content that supports shared business goals.
  • Help implement strategy by creating, coordinating and scheduling written outputs across appropriate channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts, influential contributors and business partners.
  • Work with content producers (internal and external) to source or commission photography and graphics to accompany written content.
  • Play a central role in the organisations campaign to establish a new professional narrative for by creating content that powerfully communicates key messages to relevant audiences to change attitudes and behaviours.
  • Serve as a brand champion by adhering to house style for vocabulary, tone of voice and other style elements.
  • Monitor website analytics and other data sources to determine effectiveness of outputs. Report on findings to inform decision-making.

What skills and experience do I need for the Content Copywriter role?

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
  • Experience creating a wide variety of written content (shortform and long form, online and offline)
  • Understanding of SEO principles
  • First-class writing skills
  • Content Management Systems
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Able to produce clear, high quality written material that is free of errors
