The Consumer Insights Lead will be pivotal in driving strategic and tactical consumer research initiatives to support key FMCG brand growth. This role requires a seasoned professional who can facilitate profound shopper insights into consumer behaviour and market trends, identifying opportunities for brand and category growth.

Client Details

A leading player within the FMCG and Consumer category, with a globally recognised portfolio of brands. This role will provide hybrid working, 2 days per week in Berkshire.

The successful Consumer Insights Lead will...

  • Lead consumer and shopper insights research for strategic initiatives.
  • Drive the integration of insights into brand strategy and marketing plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure informed business decisions.
  • Oversee research agencies to ensure timely and quality delivery of insights.
  • Foster a culture of insight-driven decision making within the marketing department.
  • Monitor and report on market trends and consumer behaviour.
  • Develop robust, actionable insights to drive brand growth.

Profile

A successful Consumer Insights Lead must demonstrate...

  • Proven experience in consumer and shopper insights or market research within the FMCG or Consumer industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Superior analytical abilities and strong communication skills; able to recommend opportunities for growth and create stories to drive and inspire trend-led business decision-making.
  • Experience with research tools and methodologies.
