About the Role 

Relationships mean everything to us, and this one is particularly special.  You’ll have an important part to play in automotive success that spans nearly 50 years.   Unipart Logistics (UL) has secured a contract to run the new, custom-built Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts Logistics Centre at Appleby Magna in Leicestershire.  The operation will be housed at Jaguar Land Rover’s new Mercia campus, one of the largest UK warehouse developments for a single customer.

As Warehouse Consumables Analyst, you will work as part of a team and be responsible for the ordering of consumable items to support the packing area to ensure SLA’s are achieved and maintained in line with packer volumes. You will have daily interaction with suppliers and work closely with operational areas to deliver an exceptional service to our customer.   

As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
  • Support packaging department in managing appropriate inventory levels of packaging to meet production requirements. 
  • Maintenance of master data integrity 
  • Booking of deliveries from external suppliers
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships and partnerships with all stakeholders 
  • Support adherence to all SOP’s
  • Engage with operational teams to maintain quality and service levels

About You

  • Previous experience of working within a Warehouse environment

  • MS Office and Google Apps experience essential
