Job Title: Consultant Ecologist

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000

Location: Birmingham

We have an opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist to join a leading employee-owned Environmental Consultancy with an office in Birmingham. They're already an established company going through a period of growth, and are bringing a more flexible and well-being focused approach to your Ecological career.

As a Consultant Ecologist the role is a mix of field and desk-based work. You will be responsible for managing your own diverse portfolio of projects, performing a range of surveys and report writing, and providing a best-practice ecological advice and services to your clients.

In turn, you will be able to work from home or in the office as needed (with excellent flexibility on your location), get 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, enhanced stakeholder pension, health insurance, paid professional memberships, clothing allowance, bonus scheme and progression opportunities.

To be considered for the Consultant Ecologist position you will need proven experience in ecological consultancy, a membership of CIEEM, hold one or more protected species licences (or be working towards them), in-depth knowledge of survey techniques across different species, project management skills, and hold a full driving licence with access to your own car.
