Job Title: Consultant Ecologist

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000

Location: Cheshire

We have the ideal opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist to join a specialist Ecological consultancy in Cheshire. They are an established firm that's been in operation for over 15 years and are looking for a Consultant Ecologist join the team. In this position, you will have access to a wide range of projects, from small developments to national infrastructure and conservation. This is a great opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist with ambition to progress, as they offer a supportive working environment and a highly experienced team to collaborate with.

The Consultant Ecologist position comes with a salary of £26,000 - £32,000, comprehensive benefits including use of pool cars, hybrid working, career progression and a supportive working environment.

As a Consultant Ecologist, your main duties will be leading surveys, writing ecological reports, providing consultancy and best advice to a wide range of clients, managing projects and supporting junior members of the team.

To be considered for the Consultant Ecologist position, you will need to have proven experience working as an Ecologist, including conducting ecological surveys and report writing. You will need to hold a relevant degree, hold membership of CIEEM and have access to your own vehicle. If you hold, or are working towards protected species licences this is a desirable, as is experience with Biodiversity Net Gain in any capacity.
