Construction Buyer

I am delighted to be supporting a growing construction company who are actively recruiting for a Buyer to join them on a permanent basis.

As an experienced Buyer, with a background within construction, you will work with the Contracts Manager and Site Managers to coordinate the supply of materials required for the construction site. This will include sourcing materials, working to build robust supply chains and negotiating the best price for the materials.

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience working within a construction environment as a Buyer, you will have strong negotiation skills and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure. Ideally, you will be CIPS qualified/working towards and have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
