Role Overview

As a Configuration/Service Technician, you will play a pivotal role in their Configuration and Service Department, driving daily operations and contributing to their ethos of continuous improvement and quality. This is an office-based role that challenges and rewards in equal measure, offering a chance to work on diverse projects across critical sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement day-to-day operations with precision, supporting the team in achieving their ambitious goals.
  • Engage in quality assurance, maintaining their high standards of production.
  • Manage and maintain essential tools and equipment, ensuring peak operational capability.
  • Offer technical support, enhancing their customer service and subcontractor relations.
  • Participate in product inspection and testing, ensuring their solutions meet stringent industry standards.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster a culture of respect, cooperation, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented work ethic.
  • Qualifications such as BTEC or City & Guilds.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001:2000 procedures is a plus.
