Our client caters to a diverse clientele, including system integrators, manufacturers, and test houses in industries such as aerospace, military, transport, security, and building automation. These sectors demand high-quality, non-standard products, coupled with long-term support, where quality, conformance, and reliability are of utmost importance.

Duties:

  • Execute day-to-day operations within the Configuration and Service Department, following established procedures.
  • Collaborate as part of the business team to support budgetary forecasting aligned with company objectives.
  • Uphold and enhance the quality of work produced, ensuring it meets company standards.
  • Ensure tools and equipment necessary for the department's functions are available, properly maintained, and calibrated.
  • Follow and update work instructions to accurately reflect Configuration and Service work practices.
  • Provide technical support to customer services and subcontractors.
  • Assist the Goods Inward department with product inspection and testing when needed.
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and departments, demonstrating respect and cooperation as a member of the team.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts by adhering to Lean principles.
  • Adhere to ISO9001:2000 procedures consistently.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Knowledge and Skills Required for Effective Performance:

  • Proficient general communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
  • BTEC or City & Guilds qualified
