Overview of the Conference Producer:

One of the worlds largest defense events organisations is seeking a Conference Producer, to be at the heart of what they do - conducting in-depth market research, writing copy, recruiting speakers and even giving introductions and public speaking at events.

“The role offers scope for travel, off-site meetings and collaboration with international military and defence industry executives.”

Role & Responsibilities of the Conference Producer:

  • In-depth research on relevant topics
  • Project management of events from start to finish
  • Copywriting – brochures, email marketing, agendas, website
  • Ensure conferences run to schedule, within budget
  • Reach out and Invite senior personnel from the defence sector, government and military to speak
  • Keep ahead of trends and current affairs
  • Work closely with and brief the sales teams
  • Public speaking- opening the conference and addressing a large audience

Desirable Skills & Experience of the Conference Producer:

  • Confidence and commercial acumen
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Proven verbal and written communication
  • Copywriting skills
  • Strong time management
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

Package of the Conference Producer:

  • £27k - £34k Depending on experience
