Job Description

We are looking for a risk professional with a good understanding of Annuity or Pension products to join our Non-Financial Risk team.

Ideally you will have consumer duty experience and have a good understanding of the FCA regulations.

You will provide conduct risk advice, guidance, challenge, and training to the business on Conduct Risk Policies. You will also be involved in identifying, investigating, and mitigating conduct risks.

In the role you will be facing off to first line teams and will need to be able to constructively challenge and review new ideas.

Support the analysis of proposed regulatory changes and provide advice, guidance and on the impacts of these proposals.

Qualifications

Knowledge:
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and experience of FCA rules and practical application.
Experience:
  • Some experience of interpreting and applying Group Conduct Risk policies and controls to practical scenarios and helping to devise compliant, commercially acceptable solutions.
  • Good awareness of the wider business and regulatory environment and ability to understand the potential impacts of market and regulatory changes on the Division.
  • Good understanding of the principles of risk management, especially in relation to regulatory and customer focused risks.
  • Initiative and capability to identify and investigate conduct risks through Data analysis for root cause and trends.
  • Investigative mindset with ability to generate and manage own workloads through interactions with the business.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Apps and SharePoint (build and maintenance)
  • Good organizational skills essential
  • Strong communication skills to support the delivery of MI packs, dashboards, reporting, policy training and compliance monitoring results to business leadership teams
  • Strong ability to challenge and influence stakeholders
  • Data analysis, MI and or/Business Analyst experience an advantage
