JR95: Assistant Condition Monitoring Engineer

Location: Wirral, Liverpool

Salary: Circa £30,000 Per Annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Assistant Condition Monitoring Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform condition monitoring activities such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermograph analysis, internal inspection, onsite balancing and field alignment by means of laser tool or convention dial indicator methods.
  • Create/modify equipment databases.
  • Define of condition monitoring measuring points.
  • Responsible of carrying out data collection in high quality.
  • Analysed all oil and hydraulic fluids for providing recommendations to the plant.
  • To have a proactive approach, seeking to continuously improve the service and generate new business opportunities.
  • Be aware of and comply with all company Quality Assurance systems and documentations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience within an engineering position, preferably both mechanical and electrical.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, a natural collaborator.
  • Must be able to write excellent emails which are eloquent and concise.
  • Detail orientated with robust time-management skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • High proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite skills, especially Excel.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.
  • This position WILL require national and international travel.
