COMPLIANCE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE JOB SUMMARY:
Fantastic opportunity for someone to join an established company. The ideal candidate will have experience in either compliance or administration or be looking to get into a role of this nature. In addition, previous exposure to the Financial Services or Insurance sector would be ideal but not essential, as full training would be provided for this position. You will be required to assist the department and ensure that regulatory standards are adhered to.

COMPLIANCE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide guidance and advice to all departments, relating to compliance matters.
  • Approve financial promotions for representatives and internal departments to ensure that they are clear to customers and in line with FCA rules.
  • Review and approve information to identify areas of customer and business risk.
  • Effectively manage and maintain compliance records and standards keeping abreast with all changes.
  • Contribute to the promotion and delivery of good customer outcomes across the business. Including producing monthly and quarterly compliance data to assist Board Report production.
  • Identify, log, manage and provide advice relating to the remediation of risk events and/or compliance breaches.
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks as may be assigned to you by your line manager.
 
COMPLIANCE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:  
  • Previous experience of working in a Compliance role within the financial service industry would be ideal but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of data protection and money laundering regulations and associated regulatory expectations.
  • Customer focussed outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, to enable clear and insightful reporting to senior management.
  • Confidence to assess the impact and relevance of compliance issues and articulate them in a clear and precise manner.
  • Excellent listening and observation skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Numerate, accurate and IT literate with very strong Word and Excel skills.
