Compliance Officer

  • £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday 40-hour weeks

We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Sharston who experts in the aviation industry are and are looking for Compliance Officer.

The Job

  • To conduct and document competency assessments for employees.
  • Conduct and document in process audits within the workshop/production areas.
  • Maintain a sound understanding of UK CAA / EASA regulatory requirements
  • Attend internal/external training courses as required
  • Maintain Scrap, NCR and RCR records as required
  • Maintain quality documents and audit reports
  • Update procedures/work instruction relating to the above
  • Maintain stamp holder database in conjunction with training and competency
  • assessments
  • Assist with CAA/Customer Audits as required
  • Complete customer questionnaires as necessary
  • Maintain QMS/SMS procedures, processes, and communications
  • Support the QM in continuous improvement activities

About You

  • Experience as a Compliance Officer within a manufacturing/warehouse setting
  • Knowledge of QMS/SMS
  • Ideally a background in Part 21 subpart G quality and manufacturing procedures and processes and/or conversance with P145
  • Competence in the use of MS Office products
  • Good interpersonal skills to liaise closely with other departments.
