Reed Finance is working closely with an EMI who is backed by a well-known banking group to hire for their compliance monitoring team. This position requires candidate to have strong experiences in compliance monitoring, oversights and audit within the payments and EMI industry. Candidates with a strong start-up mindset are welcome! 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Design Compliance Monitoring Programs:

    • Auditing Processes: establish independent tests to verify whether an entity’s policies, processes, and implement controls to documented requirements.
    • Risk Mitigation: identify compliance risks and ensures appropriate steps are taken to address them.
  2. Internal Monitoring of Compliance:

    • Staff Adherence: involve in auditing to see whether it verifies control implementation, monitoring assesses whether staff follow company policies and procedures in their daily activities.
    • Liability and Data Breach Prevention: help guard against liability, data breaches, and regulatory fines (e.g., HIPAA penalties).
    • Policy Management Technology: streamline policy administration using technology ensures accurate compliance reporting.
  3. Designing a Compliance Monitoring Plan:

    • ensure comprehensive coverage that the plan covered all compliance risks faced by various departments within the organization.

Requirements: 

  • strong knowledge in compliance monitoring, EMI regulations, AML/CFT regulations and FCA handbooks
  • experience in oversight, managing agents and have basic knowledge in financial crime in payments
