Compliance Manager - parttime remote

Reed are delighted to be assisting an investment management company in their recruitment for a Compliance Officer position. This is a critical role in taking up the compliance oversight function (smf16) for the company. 

Highlights: 

• working on a parttime basis (around 17 hours per week)
• flexible working arrangement 
• report to the Managing Director 

Responsibilities: 

• act as smf16 to ensure effective management of regulatory risks within the organisation
• oversee compliance framework and oversee all relevant matters 
• monitor adherence to FCA requirements and coordinate compliance file checks with relevant parties 
• verify corporate advertising and promotions comply with regulations and also inform staff of new regulations
• liaise with external parties during audits and visits

Requirements: 

• monthly travel back to the office
• strong experiences in regulatory compliance within financial services 
• FCA register is up to date
