Commercial Account Handler - Construction/Commercial

Salary to £45,000

A highly ambitious Insurance Brokerage that specialises in the UK Construction and Commercial market are actively looking to grow their team by recruiting a like-minded ambitious Account Handler.

With 20% growth year on year, the company’s Client Directors require an efficient and attentive Handler to support them and their vastly growing client book. Your primary focus will include creating presentations, back-office broking admin, using open markets to gather terms and assisting clients with general enquiries.

All risks will be Construction focused and you will be broking standard risks to include CAR, Combined Liability, PI, Project Insurance, D&O and Cyber, however this won’t be limited to others.

You will manage renewals as well as new business and will be supported by Acturis- a market leading IT platform for the insurance industry.

Due to the brokerage having a small team where every individual plays a key role, they are looking for someone who is happy to join them in the offices 5 days a week.

Experience:

Essential to have Commercial Insurance Broking experience - ideally Contractors, however other lines will be considered

Ideally have experience in supporting Client Executives

High attention to detail, with competency in spotting gap in cover

Ability to create detailed market presentations

Acturis systems is preferred however not essential as full training will be provided
