Complex Care Support Worker

Complex Support Worker - Female only: This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 as there is a genuine occupational need to recruit Females due to the nature of the role.

Hours are part time days 9am - 4pm and occasional respite.

Precedo Healthcare are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and compassionate to join our highly trained team in Liversedge. We provide care and support to a young lady in her own home with learning difficulties, limited verbal communication, and often displays extreme challenging behaviour including elements of self injury.

Previous experience working with learning difficulties is preferred, you will receive full training and induction support.

Duties include working towards person centred care plans, using a low demand approach, de-escalation techniques and role play, assisting with daily activities and outings/appointments, in addition ensuring excellent documentation and record keeping is maintained.

Successful candidates will have previous UK paid experience of at least Six month's within the last 2 years within a similar healthcare setting.

Precedo Healthcare does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.
