Do you have experience of dealing with complaints and finding solutions to these?

Due to an internal expansion to a department, a new job opportunity has come available for an experienced Complaints Handler.

You will NOT be dealing directly with the customer on the complaint, these will be managed by the Customer Service team and passed on to yourself.

Reed is recruiting for a Complaints Handler in Yatton, Somerset, on a full time, permanent basis.

Within this role, you will be managing all internal contact from the complaint coming in, determine where the issue is, discuss internally the matter, come to an agreement on how to overcome this, and put in measures to prevent this becoming a common occurrence.

It’s important that you are able to work with a wide range of departments, challenge them, get to the root cause of why these issues could be occurring, and reduce the complaints for our valued customers.

We are NOT looking for someone who is used to handling angry customers, although any previous experience of this can be useful.

We are looking for someone who can identify problems, patterns and causations, and put in measures internally to avoid a repeat.

About you:

Experience in handling complaints and getting to the root cause of this

Ability to challenge departments internally to prevent further complaints occurring

Problem solver

Strong communicator both written and verbal

Competent IT user, in particular Excel would be great (Pivot Tables, Data Sets)

Working Hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8.30am - 5.00pm

Wednesday - 8.00am - 5.00pm

Friday - 8.30am - 4.00pm

This is a great location for anyone based between Weston super-mare and Bristol, looking to cut down on their commute to work.
