COMPANY ACCOUNTANT - MATERNITY COVER

SUTTON COLDFIELD

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Our client Green & Company are a forward-looking independent firm of Estate Agents having six Sales Offices and three Lettings Offices, and have been trading for over 30 years in and around the Sutton Coldfield area. They are looking for a Company Accountant to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Directors, the Company Accountant will have a hands-on role and be responsible for the full finance function and the supervision of the Accounts Assistant.

They are looking for a Company Accountant to cover maternity leave with the following responsibilities:

• Sage 50 Accounts / Sage 50 Payroll
• Absence & Sickness, Holiday Pay
• Company Pension Scheme
• Commercial On-line banking - administrator and security
• Budgets / Cash Flow Forecasts
• Management Information & Financial Reports / Bookkeeping
• Inter-Company Expenditure / Inter-Company Loans
• Quarterly VAT Returns
• On-Line Card Payments / PCIDSS Compliance - Card Payments
• Company Credit Cards
• Statutory Payments & Parental Leave
• Employee Starters & Leavers payment & leave
• HMRC PAYE/NI Returns & Payments
• P11 D Forms / HMRC Reports
• Lettings Income Reports / Client Account Reconciliation / Payments
• Non-Resident Landlords Tax - quarterly returns
• Non-Resident Landlords Tax - annual return & forms to Landlords

Skills Required

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/AAT)
• Working Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts / Sage 50 Payroll is essential.
• Experience working within a financial background in Estate Agents is preferred.
• Positive attitude and capable of taking ownership of tasks.
