You will work for an established media planning and advertising company based in the heart of London City.

Your new role
This Company Accountant job has arisen due to in internal promotion, and is being offered on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will be varied and will include (but not be limited to):

• Managing day to day accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation
• Preparation of monthly reports
• Variance analysis, providing commentary to aid well-informed decision-making
• Follow up on decision-making
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Supporting on various projects including implementation of the new accounting system (Oracle NetSuite)
• Month-end and year-end close
• Support year-end audit, liaison with external auditors

What you'll need to succeed
You will evidence recent, relevant experience in a similar, varied Accountant role. To be considered for this Company Accountant job, you need to be actively studying for a professional accounting qualification (ACCA or CIMA) and be at finalist level with a view to qualifying this year. You will be adept in the use of Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables), with a flair for data analysis. Previous experience using NetSuite system is essential, and system implementation experience is also highly beneficial. Experience working with multiple currencies is highly desirable, and you will demonstrate excellent communication and relationship building skills across various business divisions.
