The Birmingham community support team provides floating support to a wonderful and diverse selection of customers offering them individualised support packages to help them live independently and with dignity. They are currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker to work 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday).

Where are they based

They work across Birmingham in the community with this role providing floating support to their customers.

No two days are the same.

As a Community Support Worker, you will help individuals with:

  • Access to Leisure activities

  • Accessing local services

  • Staying well

  • Attaining and maintaining housing

  • Supporting them into employment

  • Supporting with life skills such as shopping or paying bills

  • Attending appointments and more

This role is community based so would require access and use of a vehicle to travel between customers.

This role is conditional upon receipt of two satisfactory references (one from your current employer). They also need you to tell them what you have been up to over the past 5 years as a minimum in terms of employment history. This could include carer duties, travel, seeking work, education, employment, training, or volunteering.
