Community RGN – Band 5

Forest Gate

£22- £24 per hour-

Are you an experienced Community RGN looking for a full-time role in Forest Gate?

Are you able to start in the next couple of weeks and can commit to a 3-month block booking?

Are you fully competent with all community RGN requirements?

Rate:

  • Day: £24 ph
  • Night / Saturday: £29 ph
  • Sunday / Bank Holiday: £36ph

Job Details:

  • Location: Forest Gate bE7
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Working hours:  08.00 to 20.0
  • RiO/EMIS User: EMIS Only

Job role:

  • Diabetes management- insulin injection and blood sugar monitoring
  • Medication administration- including IV antibiotics.
  • Injections- intramuscular, subcutaneous
  • Male, female and supra-pubic catheterisation and catheter care
  • Palliative care- syringe driver
  • Leg ulcer- compression bandage.
  • Pressure ulcer care- including pressure equipment assessment.
  • Wound management- including removal of stitches and clips.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
  • Experience as a Community Nurse or in a relevant clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A full driving license.
