Community Researcher is a part time role that fits around other commitment. You can do the work at any time of day or week that suits you and typically it is never more than 5-10 hours a week during a project. You can opt in or out of any project so if you are busy you can always skip a project and do the next one. Generally issues to do with public health and access to services. There is also some scope for people to suggest topics of interest to them or the communities they represent. We are looking for people who enjoy talking to others about what they think and are keen for the views of LGBTQ communities to be represented.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Speaking with people from communities that are less often heard (e.g. ethnic minorities, LGBTQ)
  • Record results and report them back
  • Connecting with the community
