Physiotherapist

Location: Aylesbury

Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a physiotherapist for a well-established company, that provides private physiotherapy services in people’s homes and care homes. Our client puts their patients at the heart of everything they do, and they are looking for someone with the same high standards to join their team on a part-time basis.

The job role includes visiting people in their homes and care homes to provide physiotherapy assessments, treatment plans, and treatment interventions. You should display a diverse set of skills to be able to listen and comfort patients, provide up to date treatment plans, communicate with family and carers to ensure care plans are followed, coach carers on therapeutic manual handling, and look to improve the patient's independence and quality of life.

You will join a forward-thinking team to deliver high quality patient care, tailored to meet the patient’s needs in the home setting or in a care home. The successful candidate will be caring, friendly, approachable and always show enthusiasm to help others and learn new things.

Criteria:

  • BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience, ideally at least partly in the NHS
  • Good manual therapy & clinical reasoning skills
  • HCPC Registration
  • Have a vehicle and valid driving license
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Be motivated to continue learning with evidence of CPD
  • Excellent communications skills
