Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse in North Yorkshire and embark on an exciting new challenge! We're seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with community experience to make a difference in the lives of patients.

As an RMN specialising in community care, your role is pivotal in providing essential support to patients.

A typical day may involve:

  • Conducting home visits to ensure patients' needs are met.
  • Administering medication at scheduled times to address patient requirements.
  • Engaging with patients to comprehend their conditions, facilitating efficient support and monitoring progress.
  • Conducting risk assessments when necessary to ensure patient safety and well-being during treatment.

Requirements and qualifications for this role include:

  • Active registration with the NMC as a mental health nurse.
  • Demonstrated experience in community settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
