Community and Challenge Events Fundraiser

We are a charity that provides class-leading therapeutic residential care, treatment and education to 5-18 year old children, all of whom have experienced severe abuse, neglect and early life trauma. We have two homes in Norfolk and three homes and a school in Kent where we can look after up to 42 children.

Childhood First has ambitious plans to expand and develop our services in order to reach even more children in need of our specialist care. As the Community & Challenge Events Fundraiser you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising to grow voluntary income in order to support Childhood First in achieving its aims.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of leading on multiple challenge event and community fundraising campaigns.

  • The ability to build & maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside of the organisation.

Task;

  • Leading on the planning, delivery and development of our community and challenge event fundraising.
  • Manage the fundraising processes and supporter journeys, making improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Maximise use and effectiveness of digital and social media to recruit, engage and retain supporters
  • Expand visibility of Childhood First in the local communities within which we work.
  • Proactively explore and develop new areas of community fundraising.
