£60,000 - 80,000 + bonus

My client, an esteemed brokerage firm, seeks proficient Commodity Sales Traders to join a dynamic team in a rapidly growing enterprise specializing in offering energy hedging solutions to UK corporate clients. The ideal candidates will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing portfolios for both Mid Cap and Large Cap companies, many of which are venturing into financial hedging for the first time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee a portfolio of corporate clients.
• Execute energy hedging products, emphasizing customer education.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, and management teams.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in managing execution processes and option pricing principles.
• Understanding of corporate risk management and treasury policies, particularly for Mid Cap UK clients.
• Familiarity with suitability and appropriateness considerations and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in converting prospects from sales and marketing channels.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ambition, determination, and a diligent work ethic.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of option-based hedging solutions and derivative execution.
• Experience in credit/margin handling.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial markets sales/trading.
• CF30 / CISI qualification.

Preferred Background:

• Experience in selling FX options or operating within banking and catering to larger corporate clients.
• Familiarity with commodities energy markets.
