Are you a committed chef who is looking for a work life balance and to really make a difference with your passion. Then this amazing opportunity is for you!

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high standard.
  • Serve service users, staff and visitors with food and beverages.
  • Participate in food purchasing through established procedures and food costings.
  • Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
  • Comply with health and safety legislation, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and adhering to cleaning schedules.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) Basic Food Preparation Cooking
  • Basic Food Hygiene (essential)
  • Intermediate Food hygiene (desirable)
  • Good communication skills and the ability to cope under pressure.
  • Experience and knowledge in menu planning and costing
