We are seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to join a great education team, responsible for securing new business opportunities and developing business strategies for apprenticeships and full-cost courses. The ideal candidate will work strategically with employers to support their training strategies and promote our college as the training provider of choice.

Day to Day of the role is a Commercial Sales Executive:
  • Generate new business appointments through telesales, marketing, and sales activities to achieve income targets.
  • Ensure opportunities within existing customers are maximised.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support training strategies.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and seize business opportunities.
  • Maintain robust data management and reporting systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications for a Commercial Sales Executive:
  • English & Maths GCSE Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in apprenticeship and training provision sales.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of selling education provision and full-cost training.
  • Understanding of Further Education Colleges and the markets they serve.
  • Compliance with statutory and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of government funding methodologies.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Creative and innovative business thinking.
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with employers and stakeholders.
  • Must hold a UK Driving Licence and have the use of a car.
