What will you do? 

This is an important hire due to succession planning and taking over from a retiring partner.

In this role you will advise on a broad commercial property case load to include:  

• Buying & Selling Property - including Businesses, Agricultural Land and Equestrian Property
• Lease work - including Grant, Renewals, Assignment and Under letting
• Secured Lending & Loan Agreements
• Site Acquisition & Development (within the Industrial/Offices/Leisure/Retail sectors) 
• Advising on licenses - including grazing & shooting licences
• Option Agreements, Overages & Pre-Emption Rights
• Adverse Possession
• Landlord Portfolio Management 
• Company structuring, share sale and corporate advice matters are largely not handled in house currently so expertise in this area would be advantageous, but certainly not essential 

What do you need? 

• Be a qualified solicitor or legal executive
• Ideally you should have at least 2 years commercial property experience 
• Local commercial property solicitors and legal executives already in Devon, and those looking to relocate are encouraged to apply
