Commercial Property Solicitor

Reading + hybrid

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to join a dynamic Commercial Property team located in Reading, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
The ideal candidate, with 2-5 years PQE, will tackle a diverse range of legal matters, including leasehold and freehold transactions, development projects, secured lending, and first property registrations. In this position, you will have the chance to develop their own caseload while collaborating with more seasoned colleagues on substantial projects. The team caters to a diverse clientele, including large landed estates, property developers, charitable organizations, universities, schools, financial institutions, businesses, and private individuals.

The team is renowned for its friendly and supportive environment, where comprehensive training is provided from day one.

Key responsibilities for the role include:
  • Efficiently managing an allocated caseload of clients in collaboration with senior solicitors and the Department Manager.
  • Processing clients' cases in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Upholding the highest professional standards in alignment with the firm's objectives and complying with the firm's quality standards.
  • Keeping clients thoroughly informed about the wide array of services offered by the firm.
  • Occasional supervision of junior staff, particularly trainees.
