My client, a highly regarded law firm, are seeking to recruit a diligent, confident, self-motivated, and experienced Lawyer / Solicitor to join their busy property department focusing on commercial property work, aligned with some residential work. The successful candidate will be working directly with a Partner. You will have 4/5 years PQE and be able to hit the ground running with variety of matter types. Candidates must have excellent technical knowledge as well as a keen interest and proven ability in business development as well as a pro-active approach to risk management. Client care is a priority of and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide a top-quality service to the client. You will be keen to progress and grow within the department. Career development opportunities are available to the right candidate.

We are looking for someone to assist and help the Partner, so the ability to work independently within the protocols of the firm / SRA is vital.

Key requirements for this role are as follows: -

  • Essential experience in
    • Dealing with all aspect of commercial property.
    • Acting for borrowers in refinancing.
    • Granting and acquiring leases for Landlords and Tenants.
    • Acting for lenders and experience of bridging work.
  • Excellent technical knowledge.
  • Interest in business development.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced organisation and working as part of a team where necessary.
  • Be able to demonstrate confidence and self-motivation.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
