Our client based in the North East have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Plumber to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description:

  • Handling plumbing emergencies efficiently and professionally.
  • Performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) in accordance with maintenance specifications.
  • Installing, repairing, and replacing pipes, drainage systems, sinks, toilets, and heating and cooling systems.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork.
  • Testing and inspection.
  • Performing routine maintenance of plumbing systems within high security prisons.

Person Specification:

  • Must have a valid CSCS Card.
  • Must have proven experience of working on commercial maintenance projects.
  • Must have NVQ 3 or equivalent.
  • Must have a clean criminal record and no CCJ's/Black marks on a credit report.
  • Must have a full UK driving license.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Can pass a CRB check.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Desirable; manual handling, working at Height and face fit certificates.
  • Must have commercial plumbing experience.
