The Company

My client is a fast growing construction company looking to recruit to accommodate for the volume of work they are facing. The companies turnover has increased by 600% in the last year and are looking for an assistant project manager to help with this growth. My client is looking for a Junior Quantity surveyor for he following:

Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the preparation of tender and contract documents

- Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work

- Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies

- Performing risk, value management and cost control

- Advising on procurement strategy

- Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks

- Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders

- Allocating work to subcontractors

- Providing advice on contractual claims

- Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports

- Valuing completed work and arranging payments

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

- Excellent numerical skills

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Proficiency in relevant software packages
