We are delighted to confirm that one of our major clients, world renowned for their expertise in handling high-stakes litigation and arbitration cases, is looking to grow its team and is looking to make a key hire. It has a renowned FTSE100 client base with a stellar reputation for big ticket banking, commercial disputes, and complex cross border transactions. The team is a high performing team, with a strong emphasis around inclusivity. 

This is your opportunity to work on some of the most complex disputes, whilst also having fun and making a difference. You will play a crucial role in advising esteemed corporate clients and providing strategic guidance to resolve complex legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to corporate clients on a broad range of commercial disputes, with a focus on banking and financial sectors.
  • Handle complex, crossborder disputes, leveraging your in-depth knowledge and understanding of international litigation and arbitration procedures.
  • Lead and manage all stages of the dispute resolution process, including case assessment, strategy development, negotiation, and representation in court or arbitration proceedings.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop commercial and strategic solutions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, legal precedents, and regulatory changes affecting commercial litigation, and provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in commercial litigation, in either a city or top tier regional firm.
  • Extensive experience in handling highvalue, premium banking, and commercial disputes, ideally gained within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Strong expertise in crossborder disputes and a comprehensive understanding of international litigation and arbitration procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal issues and provide clear, commercial advice to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a clientfocused mindset.
  • An independent thinker, underpinned by lots of personal confidence.
