Commercial Fund Accountant - Private Equity
Eames Consulting is currently partnered with a high performing private equity firm that is looking to appoint a commercial fund accountant into its finance team based in central London.
This position is an ideal first move for someone with a background in funds audit or fund administration who is looking to make a first move in-house. Wider financial services audit portfolios will also be considered. Having commercial acumen is key and the individual must be confident dealing with a multitude of different stakeholders - i.e., front office, partners and investors.
The position promises heaps of commercial input and is very much middle office focused with a fully outsourced accounting setup. The day to day will be highly varied and will range from fund accounting oversight, to deal support, valuations, investor relations and financial modelling and analysis. Moreover, there will be a tonne of project work that comes into the role, including supporting the upcoming fundraise and ad hoc analytical work.

Compensation is c£60-70k depending on level of experience with an accompanying performance related bonus paying in the region of 20-30% in your first year.
Requirements include:
- Qualified accountant or equivalent (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Ideally, you will have three to five years of experience working with closed-end fund structures from either an audit, third party administrator or in-house setting.
- Some exposure to valuations is highly desirable
