Are you a dynamic finance professional, ready to make your mark on a new organisation? If so, read on... Reed are delighted to be supporting an international, York based organisation to recruit an enthusiastic financial controller into their team. This is a really exciting time to join an organisation recently gone through a transition period and there will still be amble project work to get involved with. This could suit someone who has previously been involved in system projects following acquisitions or mergers. If you are an experienced financial controller, or a finance manager or finance business partner ready to take the step up, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, we want to hear from you.

Duties include:

  • Overseeing local accounting function, reviewing monthly management accounts
  • Working with the senior management team to develop strategic financial plans and providing sound advice relating to financial matters
  • Ownership of internal controls and compliance
  • Lead on preparation of annual reports including budgeting
  • Project work as necessary


Person specification:

  • Finance qualification i.e CIMA, ACCA, ACA
  • Prior experience with project work / systems implementation is advantageous
