Commercial Financial Analyst

Overview

Highly successful High-end property developer, based in South-West London, seek to recruit ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Commercial Finance Analyst, to work closely with the Managing Director & Commercial team, to ensure strict financial control and drive down costs across the business.

Key Responsibilities,

• Conduct an appraisal of potential developments to ensure sound knowledge of future investment opportunities and to aid decision making when evaluating multiple development options.
• Monitoring & reporting on expenditure for existing developments and working with the commercial team to deliver projects within strict budget requirements
• Board reporting on the current financial status of projects ensuring any budget amendments are reported in a timely manner
• Working with the commercial team to drive cost improvements and maximise profit across existing developments
• Continuous improvement of financial controls for planned and existing developments
• Support the preparation and submission of financial information regarding investment projects under construction
• Monitoring & reporting of variances to the budget including material and labour costs
• Working closely with colleagues across the finance function to effectively communicate the status of all development projects for the Group

About you

• You will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified with proven experience within the Housebuilding or Construction sector
• In addition you will have a strong commercial acumen and work effectively with non-finance managers
• The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relations
• The job holder will be tenacious and assertive regarding the negotiation of cost reductions across the business
